Automate DTS / Sql to Excel

Guys,

I need to transfer some data from a SQL table / view into a given range in a given spreadsheet.

Could somebody advise how to do this ? Can I automate a SQL DTS to do this ? Or can I load the view into a Datatable then fire the whole datatable into a named excel range ?
