anyone using it yet? or is this just another failure like J#...
Complete waste of time. Its just a flash in the (toilet) pan.
I have 8 F#'s on my keyboard.
The language looks dumb...
Is it FoxPro #?
I thought it would be BrainF# ;)
F# = Gb
or, in piano lingo, F sharp = G flat
Same note. Get it?
seems to be as well known as C-Omega, a free extension to C# developed by Microsoft Research in the UK.
If it is, then at least I know that Plenderj have used it. Found his post about it.

I think it's time I created my own spurious language for .Net: Razor#
F#
do textB.Dock <- DockStyle.Fill Vs textB.Dock = DockStyle.Fill
call me lazy but I'm not paid per character typed.
Wether anyone uses it or not is not the point. And calling it failure is pretty stupid. Do you know what Microsoft Research is? It is nothing more than a think tank funded by Microsoft. They dont create applications for Microsoft to sell or anything. Its all about experimentation and research. Testing new ideas.
F# was never meant to be a widely used language
