Well, I have now decided to run my whole house on Linux (Even the kitchen sink :p)
All 4 of the computers in my house are now on Linux and I'm proud, no more Microsoft!! WOOOOO!
Rant off

Doesn't that make your MSDN subcription pointless then..?
Paid all that money for nothing..
I tried using some Linux tools instead of Microsoft ones - e.g. OpenOffice. It's got some nice features, but it's missing soooo many of the nice and cool features of Microsoft Office that I actually found it unusable after a few days.
kindof, but I've decided to try Wine and attempt to run VB6 on it :p
Here is my current screen, I like very very much ;)

I just like the features of Gimp, Tux, OpenOffice.org is great BTW ;)Quote:

I like Monodevelop, and Emacs...:)
I'd like to try Go Mono, but that's about all that interests me in the Linux world <shrug>
If you are used to VS then it is a big step down at the moment...they are still working on the form designer in MonoDevelop. So at the moment it is more like a fancy text editor that can keep kontroll of your files for you...:) It has some templates though, but that is about it..:)
At least you don't have to compile it using comand line...;)

The only reason I would use it is to get services running on a linux box. I would develop the code in VS and then attempt to compile onto linux...
Mojoless Noteme........
Do you think VB6 will work through wine??
Using CodeWeavers, you can get VS 2003.NET
