I am using two active X controls, CommonDialog 6 and MS FlexGrid. The program complies, but will not produce an exe. When it goes to make the exe, an error occurs...."Invalid File Format".
Any Suggestions...
This is using VB 6.0.

Search the Microsoft support KB. I saw one article that said something about a bad
resource file and another one said an .OCX may not be registered.

I have not registered any OCX's, what is that and how do I register them? I am using the flexgrid control and common dialog, and common controls...
Well an .OCX is an ActiveX control. Since you are using the standard controls supplied with VB,
this is probably not the problem. Please look at the link to Microsoft, I have found a lot of
answers there and I'm sure you'll find it.
Hi,
I've got a simular problem...
Please send me your solution...

I actually found that i just removed the OCX from my application, and used a newer version...
eg:
Went from Common Controls 5.0 to 6.0 and that fixed the problem.
Hope this helps,
