[Closed] - Win 2000 Sharing Folder
I would like to share a folder from my win2k pro.
Sharing for everybody is already working. So right now, all shared folder can be access for everybody to do everything :/
What I want is to set some folder for asking a user name and a password when connecting from another computer on the network. (The content must be "invisible" otherwise)
I'm connecting from WinXp Pro to a win2k pro.
How can I set my win2k pro for this?

You could probably create a specific user for this. Then set that use's permission as what ever you need it to be, Full control,
read/write, deny, etc. Then when they try to connect to the share they will get a prompt to login as UserName/Password. They can
then enter in the specific user credentials that you created for this share.
