"pure" C# tutorial

Hi,

Can anyone suggest a site/tutorial that covers C# from bottom to top, but not with the use of any IDE? (one you can practice everything with simply using NotePad)

I know I can just google it (and I did) but just thought maybe one of you folks can suggest something that really helped you learning more C#, but focussing only on the language (and of course .Net framework), but no IDE's?

also looking for something that focus only on the .net framework...but I think msdn will be best for that?
