My machine at work takes upwards of 2 minutes to shut down every night so I came up with a solution!! Its SO satisfying to just rip the power cable out the back. Very cathartic, you should try it. Much faster too.
Not if it's a laptop. Then you're stuck.
The battery probably comes out just as easily.
Has anyone ever tried running a UK computer on the USA power jumper? Would it just blow the fuse or would the whole PSU go poop itself?
Worked fine for me. :)
This is funny. Actually we have our own office before only programmers in the room and we got bored so we decided to watch movie w/ the use of the projector and we're using laptop. Quite of a sudden our boss enter the office and we all get panic affraid to have an early vacation.:D the laptop was near me and i'm out of my mind that i just close the lapton and w/ out knowing that the projector was still on. There the story goes so we move up leaving our own office and join the sales department.:( Now were just in cubicle.
