My keyboard doesnt function no more

My keyboard doesnt function no more The light comes on and all of that but the keys dont workִ Even tried another keyboardִ Now Im using MS Words symbols to typẹ Please help me

Just some random thoughts:
is this USB? if so, are other USB devices working?
is this a special KB that requires specific drivers?

in device manager can you see it listed? if so, can you update the driver or remove/reinstall?

Also, look closely at your connections, e.g. for bent/broken pins, dirt etc

If it's PS2 and you get desperate, you can probably just go USB.
also, some PS2 mouse/KB connections are interchangeable, so you might be able to try the mouse connection. e.g. my laptop has a single connector that can be used for both, to use external mouse AND KB requires a Y connector.

If USB, is it providing the +5V power?
If not, or if you're not sure, you could try a USB hub that has its own power adator.

Man I hate clicking 1 leter at a time. Listen, this is the 2nd keyboard I tried. All ready reseted the comp many times & its hooked in all the way. Took me 30 minutes to click-type this when it takes 1 minute
