help!!!!!1Crystal Report 10 in VB 6.0

:wave: hi all gurus

i am stuck
i am opening crystal report 10 report in vb 6 application. but problem is when i refresh report in vb it gives me login fail error
my backend is sql ser 2000.
i am using view of sql as my datasource

Is your report bound to a specific SQL Server DB table or are you just linking it to your DB?

It sounds like that on refresh the connection between Crystal and SQL Server is being broken. The message you are getting is asking you to login in to the database.

When you are in the Crystal Report Designer, and you open your report in design view, do you have a solid database connection then?

I'm trying to find out if you are losing your connection on the VB end or the Crystal Report end.

" Rupal :- yes i have solid database connection in CR 10, and when i refresh in Cr 10 , it is asking me user name,password dialog and after i provide proper value it refresh data in preview of Crystal Report 10 but through it gives me login fail message when i refresh crystal report ocx object "

Ok...so you are losing your connection when you attempt to refresh the report from within the Crystal Report Designer.

Let me do some research.
