How to get DX7VB.dll to work..

Greetings,

I wonder if anyone out there knows what to do when this happends:
I installed windows Me and since I had formated my c: drive I installed DirectX SDK again.. but when i want to load up the DX7VB.dll i get a error that says it can't be loaded..
I'm trying to get it to load the same way as with ActiveX components.. is there anything else I can do ?
this is realy irritating.. :(

im using VB 6.0 Enterprise Edition with SP4

Perhaps you do it right, but it isn't clearly in your text.
You have to add it as reference not component.
So if you just rightclick on your toolbar and add it it is wrong!
Go to project -> referemces and add it here
