I have 2 Internal Power Y Spliters, 4-pin male socket the type that connects to the PC power supply; Used to supply power to internal, hard disk drives, CD-ROMS etc, IS IT SAFE to plug a Y Spliter into another Y Spliter? thanks!!

Re: Internal Power Y Splitter Cable
As long as you have enough power to spare. I have used that setup in one machine that had a lot of devices, but didn't draw that much power.
Re: Internal Power Y Splitter Cable
What are the symptoms of "not enough power" in a system? will it crash?...blue screen? or error messages?
I have:
500w PSU
CD/RW
DVD/RW
80GB HD
Floppy
GForce 6800gt V9999
Case Fan
Thanks....

I don't know what processor you have, but you could plug your specs into this site (among others), but everything looks good to me.

Cool site...276W didn't know i had so much wattage to spare!!!
Thanks....BUT IS IT SAFE TO PUT A Y SPLITER INTO ANOTHER SPLITER
Re: Internal Power Y Splitter Cable
Of course it's safe. It would be like plugging a 4-point power-board into another. It will work, but if you plug too much in the fuse will blow.
