OK, guess I'm just in too much of a hurry and plainly stupid, but how do you attach files to your signature? Got some tutorials and stuff I'm sure some ppl will find handy
Thanx in advance!

Do you mean like in my signature?
Hi Martin,
Hmmm, no not really..yours look like link to other post.
I mean if one can upload a file (say a .pdf doc) and have other ppl download it from your signature (where your links are now)
Thanx
Where does the file exist? If it is another site, you can link to it. If it is located here, you can also link to it.
On my machine.
I've seen you can add a link yeah
The problem is that the file needs to reside on either VBF's webserver or if you have access to another webserver.
This is why you can link to files stored on the VBF webserver like the "Green Checkmark" and "Edit button" images or like
my MCP logo. Its stored on M$ webservers and I just link to it.
Guess I was too quick to ask. Did some looking around. Seems you add a post with your file you wanna share attach, and then put a link to that post in your siggie right?
Thanx!

Yes, thats how its done. Just make sure your attachment is part of a relevant post so it will remain intact ;)
For example if you are replying to someone and they will benefit (or are requesting info like in your attachment) from
the attachment then you post it and link to it in your signature. If you do it any other way it runs the risk of the
thread/post being deleted.
Might as well ask on this thread as it's related.
How do people post pictures onto their post so that the picture is actually displayed, not as a hyperlink
You mean like in your own signature?????
You use the Manage Attachments button which is in the Additional Options frame below the Reply to Thread Window.Quote:
