how to free ram using vb?

how can I free ram using vb?
anyone knows of a good demo project, or knows of a way to do this?

Free RAM from what?
What is holding the RAM?

What are you talking about? RAM means Random Access Memory... meaning that things will be stored into the RAM until the computer shuts down. If your thinking of hard drive then thats what you should go with. I dont think there is a way to free up RAM, I suggest if you want to speed your computer up to buy more RAM and install it in your computer if thats what your looking for.

Turn off the machine, and you will free up RAM.

It's pretty easy to free RAM. Just close some applications :)

I think what he's trying to do is a memory cleaner. Attached is the source to a simple program i wrote donkey's years ago. Works quite well.

Free ram as In "rambooster" the program... With that progrgam you can specify how much ram you want and itll free it up for ya, of course, if you try to free up alot your system crashes-freezes.
