Emailing Reports On the fly? Possible?

I know how to email with attachments, but can I email the reports on the fly?
instead of saving them and attaching them?
Or would it be easier when you click the "email report" button, it saves the report, attaches it, send the email, then delete the report you saved?

Create a temporary html file, attach it, send the email, delete the file.
