What's your URL? I'll take a look and give you some tips.
Meta Tags aren't used much now as they were/are open to abuse - I think Yahoo! still use them but Google completely ignore them except for using your meta description as your site description in the search results.
Content is king! All your page content is what gets your relevancy to search phrases. So make sure you have good content on all pages otherwise the search engines will have nothing to index.
Get PageRank - PageRank is the popularity of the site and is determined several things but most notably incoming links. The more RELEVANT links pointing to the site the higher you will rank. If you don't have the links your site isn't seen as important enough to be in the rankings. Don't just go and get any old link or do link exchanges as the search engines are getting wise to this and it might actually damage your ranking.
It's as simple as this - if you don't have anything on your site that people want to read and therefore link to then from a search engine perspective you shouldn't be ranked highly. Going after a search engine position for the sake of having one very very rarely works - you are best spending your time writing content of interest to other people and it will come naturally.
However it doesn't hurt submitting your site to some directories especially dmoz.org.

Re: Move my site higher in search engine
Try doing a "site:mysite.com" search in google.
also some search engines have an addurl page.
Remember it might take 3-4weeks before the spiders come your way.

OK first thing you need to use the HTML title tags better. These should be descriptive of the pages content and also be keyword rich.
Any images you have should ALWAYS have alternate text (alt attribute of img tag). Search engine bots cannot read images so you need have a text alternative especially if the image is used for the site's navigation.
Try to use the some of the HTML hierarchy tags such as h1, h2 etc. to show the content layout and importance of some terms. Take a look at http://www.google.co.uk/intl/en/webmasters/
The products page IMHO is pointless without any copy why not move CORRUGATED CASES, PALLETISED CONTAINERS, POINT OF SALE up to the main navigation?
You might want to remove the direct email address on the contact page or that's gonna get a lot of spam in the future! Drive the visitors thorugh to the contact form instead.
Finally I've checked google and you currently are not indexed. You can check this by search for site:www.nenepackaging.co.uk on Google which lists all the page on your site that are indexed. link:www.nenepackaging.co.uk shows websites linking to you - currently none.
Just try and get some inbound links, add yourself to directories etc. and I'm sure you'll pop up on the index soon. Pop to webproworld to ask for advice about keywords as the ones you have are very general and I think you are going to have alot of competition for them.
