Ok
I never thought the home pc would ever be fast enough to ask this question but here goes. How many frames per second does it take to produce seizures in kids. Is there a sight that has guidelines or "legal limits"? Is there a limit to how much flashing between colors you can show (ie black to brown: not bad but black and white: Bad). I don't want to get sued or see any kids get hurt either with my programs. should I be using a timer function in graphic loops that redraw so they don't go too fast? If so, is there a quicker delay than interval = 1 maybe like mili-interval = 1?

Thanks,
Here is the address of the article I found on the subject. It seems to imply that 1.5% of kids or 1 in 4000 may be affected by flashing light seizures to some degree but offers no measurable degree of what brings it on.

I thought I read elsewhere that the "Pokeman Incident" in Japan couldn't happen in America because the tv's here didn't show as many frames per second. I'm trying to be responsible but I think I'll join the mega-crowd that throws a "use at your own risk" disclaimer on every graphic program.
Oh well, I tried.
