Hi,

Anyone can tell me how to get started with Linux?
Thought it's a single free operating system, but now realize there's dozens of them ..from RedHat to Mandrake....HUH? And none of them seems free?

Read somewhere you will get it free in Linux Magazine CD's, but try to find a english mag here in Beijing..Holy Cow!

Have to broaden my skills here, so trying to figure out all kind of new stuff....Java, PHP...Linux....any more suggestions?
