My dad gave me this article on Easter Eggs for some of microsofts programs. One of them was for Excel 97. To find out what it is read these instructions.
1. Create a new worksheet and press F5.
2. Type "X97:L97"(minus the quotes) in the reference box and hit Enter.
3. Press Tab, then hold down Control-Shift and click on the Chart Wizard ToolButton.
HINT: When you are in the easter egg, left-click to go forward and left-click to go backwards. Have fun!!!
P.S. - I think this only works in Excel 97

...just saw the post and the (very old) easteregg... well, figured out that it works in excel 2000 too when replacing the 97 by 2000 in the coords ;)

What box is the reference box?
-
The reference box is a text box.

What is this supposed to do?
I don't see anything unusual when I do this
-
It's a flightsim kinda thing, I would try it and explain better but I only have Excel 95 on this comp.

Yah, a flight sim (I don't have sound, so I dont know if has any), with a weird blue landscape and this strange orange thing...
On this subject, on the eegs page, there was an Egg fo pinball in word 97, that I can't get to work. Any advice?
