macro not digitally signed
Hello
I have got macros "embedded(?)" in my excel spreadsheet and when i open it, it says
"Macros in this workbook are disabled because the security level is high, and the macros have not been digitally signed or verified as safe. To run the macros, you can either have them signed or change your security level. Click help for more information"
what is a ddigitally signed macro and how can i digitally sign a macro
also how can i reduce the security level of my excel spreadsheet?

Any help is appreciated.
BTW: I have looked at SignatureSet and Signature object but to no help.
TIA
Re: macro not digitally signed
You might be able to automate it by opening a doc, opening the vba editor, then invoking the menus to sign the project but may be flakey using SendKeys unless you switched it to use API code but thats allot more work.

Indeed a document can be opened hence the VBA Editor but this way iwill have to open each document to sign, I am just wondering if there is a way to sign them in the backround?
I willing to do/write code..the way it is needed. Please give me exmples if possible.
TIA
