How do i activate my soundcard on the motherboard?
If it is enabled in BIOS, just load the driver for it.
It not i just need to put it back on again so i can have sound ?
Do you have that little horn or mixer icon in your system tray? Something like this?

Try
Right Click My Computer
Goto the Hardware tab
Goto Device Manager button
in the new window look under Sound, Video and game comtrollers
is your audio device disabled? Right click and select enable to enable it. You will probably need to reboot :)
