Is it possible to change the text color on a control?
I do use the graphical display and change the backcolor,
but I can seem to do the same with the forecolor....

What control are you talking about...maybe the Command Button...that seems to pop up often. It doesn't have a forecolor property.
There are 2 ways around this. Sheridan Controls that ship with Vb have a button that has the property and if you want you can sub a check box for a command button.
Add a checkbutton and set the style to graphical and it changes shape and takes on the shape of a command button
and it has a forecolor property.
All standard controls (I think), except the command button, have a forecolor property.

Generally the forecolor property will change the caption color, except for controls where it is specifically for inputed data to the control, i.e textbox.
Worse case senario, use program code to change colour, something like
First look at the properties, for some third party controls there are three or four separate properties to change colour, depending on normal, highlighted, etcCode:
label.caption.color = vbwhite
