Can you GROUP BY on a RecordSet?

I have managed to sql a recordset from two tables in Access and also filter out the data that matches a ReportID provided by an InputBox. I am now trying to group the data by txtDescription so that BookValue and MarketValue will sum.

I can't seem to find much info online or in texts. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
