I have inserted two floppy dirves on to my computer on one ribbon! :D
that's the way all computers were before they had hard disks. then, when hard disks came along, most computers only had one drive. then, when CD's came along, very few computers had a floppy at all. the cable hasn't changed, though.
no just on the ribbon nothing else
all floppy drive ribbon/cables have two connections available.
