This beginning to get anooying does anyone have anything they would like to say about this idea?
Maybe you should try to explain a bit more? Are you talking about buying a web cam and then place it insdie your computer? If so, that won't be a problem. That should work.

Yep thats what i'm going to do but i will have to find out were i can put it in the motherboard.
Plus i want to buy a very cheap hardrive of ebay and i would work on that one and put it in there
It is still called a computer...:) And yes it will work. But you probably have to have the cable from the outside, to the insdide of the computer.
ØØ
Yep i suppose because most webcams have USB cables and there isnt a USB port in a motherobard.
So how would i get the cabel to come out?
You have all those brackets that you take away to put in a PCI card, if you remove one of them that is not in use, then you can easily get a cable in there.

Ok. Do you know of any computers that have a webcam ficked into them?
Never seen one. But that is not because it is to hard to do. Guess no one has ever thought about it before.
ØØ
Do you think i could send the design to dell or someone to get there point of view?
To be honest I don't think they care. It will work, and it is easy to do it. So if you want to do it, then just do it. You can place a camera where ever you want. And it will work.
ØØ
ok.I will think of something else to put on it
What is it that you want to "watch" with this webcam?
Do you want to view the internal workings of a harddrive?
If so, as someone else alluded to, it will get boring very quickly, that is, until it crashes due to the dust introduced during the camera installation.
You'll also need some source of light in there, maybe a super bright LED.
I don't think you'll have much of an audience for this video.
Now, a web cam in a CD drive, that would be at least twice as exciting!
Please put [RESOLVED] in the title of this message.Quote:
