The top image is correct (although the bottom one could be used if the post title were dropped).
The thread title/folder is within the other folder <-- that is what the folder graphics are showing. Nothing more.
edit: besides, if you went with the middle image, then as the bread crumbs get longer, the thread title would get shoved to the right more. That could quickly cause an issue.
Brad!
I'll bring this to the attention of our "breadcrumb" person.
I have to agree with Rhino and isn't it true that with the current structure of our forums that the the "shoving" can only be to one more level (for World Events).Quote:

Just wonder if it's getting anywhere ???
Judging by this very thread, I'd say it hasn't gone anywhere:

Oh, geez... I just saw the breadcrumbs for this reply window.... Personaly, I think the 100% text with > in between is the best (and takes the least amt of space)
Tg
but that's just my $0.02
Yea, I like the "plain text" layout as well.
Me too.Quote:

In reading the last couple posts, is saying, that on the bottom of the page, you'd rather not see the thread title on the second line, but rather have it gone? In other words, this thread would have just:
http://www.vbforums.com/images/misc/navbits_start.gif VBForums.com > General > Forum Feedback
I would agree with that, But is it also posible to raise it a bit hight too? it used to be directly below the Reply button but now there is ratehr a big gap :).Quote:

No we had it higher in this version too, towards the begining. But I think the "Last Thread" & "Next Thread" links were below it.Quote:

Apparently in this case no news is bad news.
I'm afraid you're right. :)
Since there seems to be a lack of any attached images in the first post, counter to what is implied, It is just a bit hazy to determine what this thread is about.
Perhaps this is due to RhinoBull editing the first post, getting rid of the attachments, so He could get back some byte-age allotment?
If I am not wrong, and remember right, it was about the thread title comming out of the start folder, and he would like it too look like it came out of the section you are inside. So it would be ONE long line.
Did I make any sense..? Picture added...
Then get rid of the drop down folder style of an image, and make it a dash.
My work is done.
It was my opinion that the current format was correct even though all of you disagreed. ;)
Because I didn't consider this a big issue, I took the "my vote wins" stance on this one. :D.
(Besides, in the grand scheme of things, this would be a very low priority fix)
Brad!
Thanks NoteMe, that is correct and I did delete some of my attachments ...Quote:

I like the 2 line method, but the icon for the second line is visually misleading, since it stems off the root.Quote:

If My suggestion was overlooked, It was meant to look like:

- Appearance: no big deal but doesn't look right
Where the dash is just that, visually unconnected from the root element "VBForums.com"
But, as has been excellently observed,
Brad Wins.
:)
As always. ;)Quote:

OK. Thanks.
