The Best Mixed Metaphor In The History Of The World

Steven Jackson, a player for the Orlando Magic, during a press conference, lashed out at media and fans saying "Some of you have been saying we are the worst basketball team since sliced bread." :lol:

I think Mr. Jackson should be thankful that media and fans weren't calling the Magic the worst team since shooting fish in a barrel. ;)

He should thank the heavens that fans and media are not calling the Magic the worst team since a square peg in a round hole. :eek:

I could go on, but I'm laughing too hard... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Here are a couple from George W. Bush. Strictly speaking they may not be mixed metaphors but they're still funny.

"Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream."

"The senator has got to understand if he's going to have — he can't have it both ways. He can't take the high horse and then claim the low road."

All these metaphors have been clouded in a sea of confusion.
