depends on what you need. make sure that it has enough power. you can also get external fans, if overheating is a problem.
NOot sure what I need, but I know I want something that has good fans. The one I have right now, the fans on it never worked since we got the computer. Also, while playiing games, you can here something turn off, and I wonder if it's the power supply. It a sound just like when you turn your computer off, but nothing really happens.
Do you mind telling me some stuff I should look for in getting one, and what I need?
Look here for what you need, and then look around for pricing info.

all power supplies r similar i got myne for 50 buks AUS and it is brilliant, never screws up or anything and its 400w!
If your running a P4 then you want at a very minimum 350 watts. I am
running an Antec True Power 430 watt power supply. You need to watch out
for those shady ps' that say they are rated at a high wattage, but in reality
they are not. They play with the numbers and formulas used in calculating its
ratings.
Take a look at mine.

Thanks guys. This was a perfect time to respond. Were probably going to order one this weekend, and your suggestions really help. The antec you posted doesn't look bad at all.
The thing to remember about power supplies is that you need to get one that
is from a reputable company and/or one that has true ratings for its output and
stability.

i diasgree myne is sum dodgy company i never heard of and its fine, and i ahve 4 computers all wiht the same and they r all over 2 yrs old there has been no problem EVER
I'd just head to best buy or circuit city and get one.
If the fan doesn't work when you put it in, take it back rather than
hassle with the return dept.
400W or more would be best on a machine that plays games and powers a big video card.
350W otherwise
