I can see that we are now allowed to both edit and delete posts. But it is a text box where we can write why.
Are there any strickt rules that say we have to do it. Or is it just "nice if you do" thing to do.

Nice to do I think. Not needed. I've seen deleted posts without a reason anyway. Do you have anything to hide? :)
I just edited the Øyvind Østlund thread, and noticed the text box....havn't seen it before.

I normally try to use the Edit box to give a reason why I edited it unless it was clear I was adding an extra line starting with "EDIT". Like if I updated the attachement, Added Resolved, corrected Spletting mistakes. But I guess its not too important, its nice if others can see why it says you edited it I guess :).
Being out to lunch...err... I mean out for lunch, I'm impressed you noticed :DQuote:

That was not what I edited...I edited the thread title...;)...added a word...;)Quote:

No rules, but it's a nice way of alerting someone to the fact, say, that you added or corrected a line of code.Quote:

Also tried to delete a post. No comment there, but I guess mods can see them tho'.

I noticed it, but never made the correlation between auto-edit comments. I usually left it blank, and added my own EDIT: comments. Now, I will let the system do it for me!
