If the Swiss try to pledge, will the EU make them run around all the other countries naked in Daffy Duck masks?
Will they be forced to do panty raids on France?
Is there going to be a big beer bash on the day they actually finish their hazing???
:D
btw...nice deli style thread title. Do I still get a Garlic Pickle on the side?
I would love to see that. :lol:Quote:

Turkey is not "in the EU" and will not be for at least another 5-10 years. Accession talks have been agreed, that's all.
Sometimes it's useful to read between the lines and understand the nuances. :)
Watch out Russia, it won't be long before...
All your eastern bloc bases are belong to us.
The swiss are rubbish. I'd rather live in Afghanistan. All they ever do in Switzerland is yodel and hit eath other with bits of the landscape.
And the beer is cack too.

We have to be proud that those of the "New countries" recognised that Switzerland and Turkey are States, and that they are in Europe.........
George Bush Jnr invited the Swiss navy to the white house for dinner. One wonders if he knows what a land locked country is . . .
I'm sure the Swiss have some very important lakes that need defending.
:ehh:
:ehh: Jeez you guys are really antiswiss.
Now without them where would we get our swiss cheese?

Switzerland does have a small navy of sorts. Lakes Konstanz and Leman (Geneva) form international frontiers, and their navies consist of a few patrol craft. Switzerland also has a major Rhine commercial fleet (you can see the Swiss flag flying all the way to the Netherlands), which military craft patrol in time of war.
I'm with Bodwad, give me a good cheddar any time.
Besides, the reason everyone is so anti-Swiss is their own fault for being so "neutral" all the time.
It's like the EU is just not good enough for them :ehh:
