FTP and signatures

Hey everyone, i am cuurently in the process of making a program that displays a picture in my signature depending on my msn status, i thought that it was working because i can see the picture but nobody else can, i am uploading the picture to a server on topcities and then i am making the signature display the picture, can anyone think why this woudnt be working?

Right now the image is pointing to "http://msnstatus.topcities.com/status.jpg"

Are you sure that is the correct link ? doesn't have to have a user name ? something like this: "http://msnstatus.topcities.com/some_user_name/status.jpg"
Just a guess...

There's probably a cookie on your machine.
