I want to change my ip address, but I don't know how to do this and don't know if it is possible. I did try an anonymizer program, but it did not work.
So what should I do?

what are you trying to do. the ann. programs let you surf, and send email with their ip address. you could google for free proxies. use them as your proxy, and their address will be sent.
google free*anonymous*proxy*server
I'll try what you guys said. Also I'll go ahead and tell you what happend. My brother got on my computer and was playing Medal of Honor online. He got banned from my favorite server for using foul language. They banned our ip address and now I can't join. I just wanted to be able to get a different ip address so I could play.
I'll see if the anonymous proxy server works.
I don't think it's going to work then, because most anonymous proxies work on port 80 as opposed to whatever port MOH uses.
Well that just sucks. There has to be some way.. :cry:Quote:

Nope not on dial up. Anyways, that sounds like a pretty good idea. If I can't figure out any other way, then that's probably what I'll have to resort too.Quote:

How are you getting a static IP address? We pay extra for that!
Why not try unplugging your DSL modem and see if that serves up a new IP when restarted.
If you have a dynamic ip address unplug and replug your modem, if your on dial-up disconnect then reconnect.
if you have a static ip you can't change it (actually for me the ip changes every few months for by itself some reason.
if you have a dynamic ip address and not connected through a router open a command promt/ms-dos promt and type in
ipconfig
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig
yeah i have a dynamic ip address, it changes every time the modem is switched off the on, its self :D
