While looking through Ms's powertoys i came across a dl called Virtual Desktop Manager. Anyone use it? Sounds like a good idea to slice up desktops for different uses but dosent xp do that anyway based on who logged in?

That's a little bit different. I used it for a little while ages ago, it's supposed to allow you to have 'virtual' desktops, where you can have say a word document open in one screen and IE in another etc.
It's much like Linux's system of multiple desktops, however; Window's version isn't very elegant. It's not as easy to use either
It's a powertoy, not an official product, if you don't like it, don't use it.Quote:
