Is it possible to make IE windows be in maximized state when you open a new window? I wanna have the window maximized when I click on a link and a new window opens etc... any registry/policy settings for this?

Right click on the ICON, not the shortcut, choose Properties, and select MAXIMIZED. I just created another shortcut to modify, as my VBForum shortcut started wrong.

This should then set all new windows including IE windows to appear how you set it. Works for the status bar trick anyway.
hmmm thanks a lot for your solution Ideas Man.... umm but I like to keep the regular win explorer windows in normal state, not maximized. I guess there isn't a proper way to have IE maximized and not change the win explorer windows. :cry:Quote:

yeah I think I'll do that, thanksQuote:

same here. I was going to put the link into the shortcut that I made from the icon, instead of using the shortcut that I made out of the link. there may be some way to have them all open maximized, but i don't know it.
