Barcode

I've just started using CR and I have a part number field in my database that I want to print with a barcode font. This requires e to "wrap" the part number with asterisks. I tried "*"&{PARTNUM}&"*" but I'm not getting the correct code and it's not recognized by a scanner. Anyone else tried this? Is my formatting correct?

Does the partnumber have any spaces in it?

No spaces in the part number. It is an alpha numeric 7 digit number.

What font are you using to generate the barcode? Bar Code 3 of 9?

Yes, It's 3 of 9 and a WASP font. I have used it before with no problem.

I finally got it. I guess I was too used to Access report formatting and I put the quotes and ampersand in there and did not need them. Thank you for your help.
