I have a 120gb storage disk that is almost completly full.
I tried defragmenting it with the windows program but it says it needs at least 10% of free space which of couse I don't have.
Is there anyway to do it without the 10% percentage?
Are any other defragmenting programs out there than the windows one?

you may be able to compress enough to compress a larger amount of info to get to the desired free space that defrag needs.
can you burn some things to a CD, or DVD? or copy them elsewhere?
do not compress! just heed that warning.
Now, you are goona have to move some stuff onto cd, or zip a bunch of stuff up to defrag...only choice...
There may be a 3rd party defrager out there that will do it for you, try zdnet.com and search for disk defragment
or try norton utilities it comes with one
Diskeeper does a good job, but they will all suffer from the same problem if free space is limited, they use it to move the data around on the HDD, so like it has been suggested already, time to do some cleanup.

Ok Im assuming since you have a hard drive that big, that you obvioulsy have alot of music. Here is my advice:
Take alot of blank cd's and burn 12 gigs of music or software to them, then delete the software or music off your pc, thus that will give you the 10% you need. Then defrag and put the information back on at a later date.
