AntiVirus Heuristic Engine

Hey!!

Are there any Anti-Virus experts here?!!

The project is about making a Heuristic Scanning Engine for viruses.

The Engine must be very good and useful and nearly the same as Norton or McAfee Heuristic Engines.

And also an Engine to scan Boot Sectors like Norton and others.(Optional)

This project considered to be a FREE Anti-Virus APP for the world but with a High-Performance.

Databases are ready and everything is ready, and waiting the Heuristic Engine to be developed. Ofcourse it is not so important at this moment to make the Heuristic Engine as it is a new Anti-Virus but I'm sure I will find what I want here.

Ofcourse this must be made using C++..


Platform:-

All Windows Versions with Fixes and Service Packs..

MS DOS may be good if supported.

Don't you only have to scan the file for matches in the database? It doesn't sound all that hard exept for the fact you have to know what to scan for, and how to fix the problem if it can't be removed.
