This US Olympic team sucked ass anyway...It was more about having players who weren't worried about the security issues, instead of good players!
Let's see we have...
Carmelo Anthony - young hotshot rookie.
Carlos Boozer - why him??? who knows?
Tim Duncan - Solid inside player
Allen Iverson - Well known ball hog and trouble maker
LeBron James - Another you hotshot rookie.
Richard Jefferson - He's only good with a supporting cast.
Stephon Marbury - Just a Mini Me version of Allen Iverson
Shawn Marion - why???
Lamar Odom - yeah, he's so good, the Heat traded him with 2 other players for Shaq.
Emeka Okafor - Never played on the NBA level before, straight out of college.
Amare Stoudemire - strong player.
Dwayne Wade - Yet another young hotshot rookie
So let's see out of the 12 players.
3 are rookies.
1 has never played in the NBA before.
2 are ball hogs.
2 I don't even know why they asked!
2 are so talented, their teams traded them after the season ended.
That leaves 2 talented players on the team (Tim Duncan and Amare Stoudemire)
Alot of the blame lies on the players who chose not to play because of security concerns.
I guarantee if those players were on the team, we would have won gold.
Just for the record, I'm not taking anything away from Argentina, Puerto Rico or Italy. As bad as the "Dream Team" is, it's still good team, and these teams that beat them were just better.
but everyone would have had their asses kicked if we had the "A" team instead of the "B" team.
No, I was nearly drunk. I mean world championship, Indianapolis 2002: we defeated USA at semifinals, and then lost against Yugoslavia:Quote:

Gold Medal: basketball - Argentina 84 - Italy 69
Gold Medal: football - Argentina 1 - Paraguay 0
Argentina 17 goals, 0 against us - what a campaign!
First gold medals after 52 years (since I was four, I can't remember)
No, but I remember Sydney?Quote:

Excuseme, Pc_Madness, I wrote Sydney in Spanish.
By the way, if you live in Melbourne, do you happen to know my friend Walter Bellina? He lives in North Dandenong.
Since its a name, you can't write it in a way other than what its been decided by the owners of that object which have given it that name. :unsure:Quote:

And no, I don't know Walter. Dandenong is where we send all of the finger sniffing hobos. :(
How about Terrence Watt living in central Melbourne?
How do you write Deutschland? Dutch? Japan? Spain?Quote:
