Hello Everyone:
Is there a way to tell what kind of chipset I have in my computer without cracking the case? If so how can I tell?
Thanks

Get a tool called "wcpuid" goto View -> Chipset Info...
Should tell you what you need.
The program I wrote about the other day displays among other things chipset info, also.
