Does it work?
Dont be silly!!!
While trying to retrieve the URL: http://adam.codedv.com/
The following error was encountered:
Connection Failed
The system returned:
(61) Connection refused
The remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again.
grrrrr
One minute it works, next minute I get a connection refused.
probably low bandwidth or low connections allowed
I have had similar problems with it before. I can connect on port 80, but as soon as I try and send data it cuts the connection. I'm not sure whther its my router or the ISP.
I checked my router config and noticed that it was getting the IP address via DHCP rather than using my static IP address - so I've changed that and I'm hoping its stays up
Forbidden
Only dogs are forbidden - everyone else can see a fantastic website ;)
Forbidden.
It came up Forbidden, then it poked me in the eye :(.
Not anymore :bigyello:

It appears to be a problem with the port forwarding at my end. It logs the request and says that it is forwarding the packets but they disappear before they get there
Ghost Packets.
LOL :D It appears to be up and running now. It wasn't before when I posted, as I haven't done anything differently.
I know - its up and down lick a yo yo. :( I hope they can sort the problem before I go back to college.
Your server is keeping the same IP on the network isnt it :)
Yeah - I've got Demon Broadband. They include a static IP, they also don't have any caps on upload or download bandwidth and don't block any ports. I thought it may have been them first, but it appears to be my router.Quote:

I phoned their technical support yesterday. Spoke to a sexy sounding women, but she was in Kalkutta  :( and she was smart too, I've never spoken to a techy who knows what they are talking about before.
I know it stumps you when you talk to them and makes you sound really stupid
So here is a detailed description of my problem. Affecting the DG824M Netgear router.
Looks like a firmware bug to me
