user controls keep disappearing [RESOLVED]

I created some user controls and put them on my form, right? ok, well when I copy the project from one computer to another, they are permanately gone. I have the user controls in both of my pc's toolboxes and there are references made in the project. What am I doing wrong?

I've had to redo the missing controls numerous times and I'm out of ideas.

what controls are they? ones you made yourself?

yes and no. they are comboboxes and text boxes I extended. i think my problems may be helped by re-installing vs.net. I have had a TON of funny quirks lately. I may just reformat my whole drive and start over tonight. :D
