I'm completely self-taught at VB.NET but have managed to persuade my company to send me on
this course.
I was wondering if anybody else had been on it and, if so, how was it??

I've no knowledge of this company but I do notice that the course notes say it is not suitable for a person with ANY previous experience of VB (any version) and recommends another of their courses.
If your company can easilly afford it, I would recommend classroom teaching every time, as the speed of being able to ask questions and receive immediate answers ( for what are many times very simple questions for other people but obscure for us) is invaluable. I tried a local once a week Evening Class for VB6 and even that was a terrific improvement on using a book supplemented by a forum.
At the end of the course you will be left wondering why they charged so much but, unfortunately, that is capitalism - and if we did not have capitalism we would not have computors:bigyello:
Make sure you pay for the course with a credit card as you then (in the UK at least) have some protection against scam operators - most Credit Card companies will actually refund your fees if you are scammed!
One point. If you are completely self taught, don't confuse any fellow students by deviating from the strict course schedule.
There are several on-line courses which are much cheaper and will take you through a complete VB.NET. Some of the contributors to this forum run courses. Hopefully they will respond to your post.
