VB Clipboard

Help! I have a major problem. In the design view of the VB form, when I place the Mouse, the mousepointer turns to a cross, as if it should be selected. When I click on the form then, it displays an error message with some numbers along with 'The memory could not be read.' I think there is some image in the clipboard of VB. How will I clear the clipboard in VB? Please help.
