Gif or Jpg [RESOLVED]

I am using several (27) Gif files as backgrounds to labels, when I debug or compile and run my program it seems the area that the labels are positioned in on the form show whatever other program that is behind them till the program has fully loaded and then show the picture in the label as it should be.

Would I be better off converting all the Gif files to Jpg format and using them instead? :ehh: Technically my splash screen will cover most of this up while the main form loads behind it but I like a nice clean look over all. I think I read somewhere that the bleedthrough is a problem with Gif files and will cause this.
