Hi, does anyone know how to solve the problem(calculus) of:
lim (x-1/x) as X -->0 from the left. Im thinking it does not exist. Any suggestions?
Thanks so much

Hi, does anyone know how to solve the problem(calculus) of:
lim (x-1/x) as X -->0 from the left. Im thinking it does not exist. Any suggestions?
Thanks so much
lim (x-1/x) as X -->0 from left
lim(x) - lim(1/x) as x -> 0 from left
0 - infinity
approaches -infinity
thanks for your help...one more question if i have a function like f(x) = x-3 / (x-1)^2 (x-3) and im asked to solve for f(1) would the answer be infinite? Thanks
f(x) = x-3 / (x-1)^2
f(1) = 1 - 3 / (1-1)^2
f(1) = 1-3/0^2
=1-3/0
=1-undefined
=undefined
I don't think that the question F(1) will be asked to you, because the answer will be impossible, and the fonction does not exists.
