Hi,
I run my application in my own PC and it has no error. When I run it on another PC, an error message
"Run-Time error '3044':'C:\Windows\Desktop\SE_Courseware_Compilation v2\Password.mdb isn't a valid path. Make sure that the path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected to the server on which the file resides."
I have used the App. Path function in all path names in my program. I have even created an installer. The weird thing is, the program runs perfectly in my PC. The other parts of the program run perfectly in the other PC, except the part where I joined my tables. Because of this, I am unsure of whether it is the JOIN keyword that causes the error. Or is it because of any other matter I am unaware of?
Below are my codes:
VB Code:
datStudent.DatabaseName = App.Path & "\Student.mdb" datPassword.DatabaseName = App.Path & "\Password.mdb" datStudent.RecordSource = "SELECT Student.StudID, StudName, Password FROM " & _ "Student INNER JOIN Password ON Student.StudID = Password.StudID " & _ "ORDER BY Student.StudID" datStudent.Refresh
When I step through the codes, it pointed out the line "datStudent.Refresh" as having the error message. BTW, I am using DAO.
Thank you so much!
