error configuring data adapter

I get the following error when using the 'wizard' to create a dataform:

there were errors configuring the data adapter

this is the only table I have problems with. Does anyone know of a setting or maybe if the table structure is doing this? The table exists in one database and I can get the wizard to work but not in another database. I even tried copying the table to an .mdb file and i have the same errors. what's even stranger, is the table I DON"T have problems with HAS problems when copying to the access file! weird.

but anyhoo, has anyone experienced this error message? and if so, how did you resolve it?
