Hi Everyone. I am going to take a VB.net class soon and was hoping to get a recommendation on a book that I can pick up beforehand and learn the basics. The class will be fast paced and I don't want to get behind...
P.S. This is my 1st programming class.

The very best book for a complete beginner is Sams Teach Yourself Microsoft Visual Basic .Net 2003 in 24 Hours, by James Foxall, ISBN 0-672-32537-3. He backs this up with a good web site at
www.jamesfoxall.com where you can obtain a discounted copy.
However, be warned that each tutor of VB.NET has their own idea of the order in which the language should be learned. Best of luck.
