What r crystal reports? I've worked with reports prepared using data environment in VB.

what are advantages with crystal reports over data reports.

Do we have to install seperate software to work with crystal reports

Crystal Reports is a program suite sold by Crystal Decisions (I think, they have changed hands a couple times lately). It has some advantages. It keeps the VB executable smaller because all the reports are separate enitities. I use it to access my Access2000 dbs, as well as my SQL Server dbs, and my Pervasive SQL dbs. One development environment. I can change a report without making any changes to my vb code. I like it a bunch.
