Does any one have any info on programming in VB using API calls to control the inputs and outputs of a parallel port. Dll's have been made so their must be something around that can do it. I would rather not use 3rd Party controls/dll's but if you do have any links, i would be willing to consider them.

I tried the same, and I had no luck with API functions. A good third party dll is vbio.dll. You can download it here: http://member.netease.com/~zealsoft/vbio/index.html.
