HTML: Excel to Html Tables

I have a lot of data in Excel spreadsheets and I would like to somehow transfer them from Excel into an HTML table so I can post it online. Is there an easy way of doing this? All I want is the data from Excel to transfer into one large html table. Or would it be easier to get all the Excel data into a database program such as Access and do it from there?

Ideas are greatly appreciated.

open the file in excel, save as a web page. open it in any HTML editor. cut out all the crap you don't need.
